What our church believes

We believe in one God, creator of the universe and the very essence of love, who reveals Himself to us as our Heavenly Father through His Holy Spirit, his Word and ultimately through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the exact representation of His being.

We believe that the death of Jesus Christ provided the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all who believe in Him, and that through His resurrection we have new life.

We affirm the Bible as the perfect, inerrant, infallible Word of God and it is the foundation and guide for all that we believe and do.

We affirm Baptism by believers in that it is an act of obedience, worship of God, and a declaration of one’s relationship to Jesus Christ and His church.  If you have questions about baptism or would like to be baptized, please click here.

We affirm the statements about our faith and beliefs as contained in the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

What to expect

At Hope Church, we work hard to create a friendly, casual, comfortable atmosphere.  People wear clothing ranging from “Sunday best” to flip-flops with shorts.  Dress the way you are comfortable and join us to worship God.

What about the kids?

During our fellowship time we enjoy coffee, donuts, and juices as we fellowship with one another.  There is something for everyone.  One of our greeters will help you check your children into our childcare that is provided during the morning worship service.

Worship style

Our worship style would be considered blended contemporary.  We gather together as a church to sing praises to God together, followed by a message from Pastor Greg.
